Job description

Location: Clayton, NC Company : Studio TK (Commercial Furniture Manufacturer) Department: Production (Frame Up) Reports To: Production Supervisor Position Summary: The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating woodworking CNC machines (currently Biesse) to fabricate and modify plywood components with a high degree of accuracy. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality through precise machining and inspection processes. Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and work orders to determine machining operations and optimal sequencing - Set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC woodworking machines to produce precision components - Measure, lay out, and verify dimensions and tolerances using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) - Inspect machined parts to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machine faults; modify and debug CNC programs as needed - Calibrate and adjust machine programs to maintain accuracy and efficiency - Develop and implement corrective actions for any specification deviations - Perform routin...
