Job description

General Purpose: Ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and efficiently, including preventative maintenance, overhauls, modification, fabrication, welding, and mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair. Assist in maintenance management and provide training, work direction, and guidance as needed to ensure all work performed meets department and plant expectations. This is a Union position. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment in compliance with all safety procedures - Support the installation of new equipment, support and implementation of preventive maintenance program - Assist the machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime - Ensure all repairs are documented - Keep management informed of any maintenance issues - Complete work orders as assigned - Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive - Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation req...
