Assistant Store Manager - Selling

Job description

The Assistant Store Manager - Selling reports to Store Manager and is responsible for the overall sales in an assigned area. Exercises discretion of leadership to ensure accomplishment of division and store goals for assigned area. Essential Functions: - Meet or exceed store and Omni sales and profit plans through the training, coaching & managing of the direct reports - Ensure shrinkage control and Asset Protection in store through the continual management of direct reports - Educate direct reports & ensure execution of sales promotion calendar to associates to achieve sales and profit goals - Educate & manage direct reports to ensure price integrity in the store, including timely completion of permanent price changes - Ensure that all price changes are communicated through the approved channels, and report all deviations to the Store Manager/Price Manager - Ensure & year-end and mid-year inventory strategies are executed in a timely and efficient manner - Provide training & communication of meeting or exceeding Customer Experience goals to your team - Communicate with Store Manager and Corporate Merchants regarding merchandise issues and needs that you identify - Ensure merchandi...
