Senior Construction Inspector (Full-time)

Job description

Overview EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION: Experience inspecting construction work activities, with demonstrated increasing responsibility, of the same or similar type as that of the project to which the Construction Inspector II is assigned. Experience may be in the following sectors: highways, bridges, streets, traffic control, sign installation projects. Responsibilities: MAIN DUTIES: - Performs work of moderate to considerable difficulty. - Performs field checks of all “red-line” as-built plans to assure completeness of the plans. - Performs on-site field compliance inspection, quality assurance and progress monitoring at various construction projects for conformance to specifications and codes. - Performs development of payment applications. - Ensures that all maintenance and new construction is completed in accordance with the contract, plans and specifications, approved shop drawings, approved material lists, and permit requirements.
