Job description

Mayo Clinic Global Security Supervisors will oversee the activities and supervision of the security officers by assisting with problems, providing direction, determining appropriate action, and disseminating information. The supervisor will meet budgetary specifications and maintain a budget in conjunction with the manager or security operations. The role also includes ongoing collaboration and communication utilizing shared goal setting and decision making with physicians, associate providers, department staff and multidisciplinary team members. The supervisor serves as a focal point for emergencies and ensures a safe and secure environment. They participate in the hiring and training of new Security Officers. They will perform routine security officer functions as needed in conjunction with their other duties. May utilize security vehicle on a regular or occasional basis; enforces Mayo policies and responds to complaints and service calls for wrongdoing, prepares incident reports/activity logs, and may work in the Security control centers.
