Structured Cabling Foreman SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking an Structured Cabling Foreman that will be responsible for providing skilled craftsmanship for maintenance and installation of electrical systems. Provides oversight to craft team members. RESPONSIBILITIES: Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system - Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools - Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components - Study plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and/or installations - Repair and maintain high voltage systems - Organize work by receiving and studying work orders; gather tools and supplies - Read prints, layout work, and install new service - Repair electrical problems by replacing faulty parts and components - Maintain electrical systems by conducting system tests; complete preventive maintenance requirements - Ke...
