Position Title: Safety & Support Monitor - Elementary (SSM) Division: Leadership Services: Reports To: Principal and District Safety & Security Director FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Salary Schedule: Hourly: Work Days: School Hours, 190 Days Qualifications: - Work with other school personnel to assist students in the development of techniques to regulate and manage emotions, encourage positive student behavior, and promote safety in the school. - Maintain an ongoing review of the physical security of the assigned school location. - Assist building administrators with the continuous monitoring of the school campus. - Assist with the supervision of students during transitions in the hallways, meeting the expectations of school administrators. - Alert building administrators of any safety and security concerns throughout the school day. - Work cooperatively with building administrators to promote positive student behavior. - Assist students in examining misbehavior and developing strategies to prevent reoccurrences. - Coordinate, provide, and supervise instructional and behavioral activities for assigned students. - Attend and participate in training workshops. - Maintain confidentiality o...
