Job Description: This internship is a growth-oriented role designed to introduce interns to the insurance industry through hands-on experience supporting the Commissions team. The intern will assist with day-to-day technical and clerical tasks across Commercial, Personal, and Employee Benefits lines of business. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Application Product Manager with daily, weekly, and monthly activities in order to learn Cross Insurance’s workflows and procedures. A key focus of the role will be assisting with the automation of commission statement retrieval from carriers using Ascend bots. To support this initiative, the intern will help gather, organize, and maintain carrier login credentials. The intern may also assist with initiatives to transition payment processes from check payments to ACH deposits. In addition, the intern may participate in meetings as determined appropriate by their manager.
