Summary of Essential Functions: - Registered Nurse to who is delegated the administrative and clinical responsibility and authority to manage department services and programs. - Assists with patient-placement and bed-control activities with case management as needed, nurse managers, unit-based charge nurses, admission staff, physicians, ancillary services, and infection control. Educational Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. - Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Licenses and Certifications: - Licensed as an RN with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas. - CPR Certifications. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Nursing experience, which has provided opportunities to refine competencies in nursing practice and application of administrative principles. - Demonstrates ability to tolerate ambiguity, be flexible, enthusiastic about and adaptable to progressive change. - Demonstrates evidence of commitment and compliance with corporate program.
