Job description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. - Process vehicle titles and registrations for new and used car sales - Verify accuracy of legal documents, including titles, MSOs, liens, and payoff information - Submit title paperwork to the appropriate state agencies within required timelines - Prepare tax, title, and license documentation for customers - Handle out-of-state title processing when applicable - Maintain organized records of all title transactions and documentation - Follow up on missing or incomplete paperwork with sales staff, customers, and lenders - Monitor and resolve title discrepancies or delays - Ensure compliance with DMV/state regulations and dealership policies - Assist with audits related to title and registration documentation - Process trade-in payoffs and lien releases - Provide support to accounting and sales departments as needed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: - High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred) - 1–3 years of automotive title or dealership administrative experience preferred - Knowledge of DMV processes, title laws, and registratio...
