Senior Clinical Risk Manager

Job description

Position Description: The Senior Clinical Risk Manager evaluates actual or potential safety events within the hospital. They participate in the development of corrective action plans and performance improvement initiatives to mitigate present and future risk. They oversee reporting to regulatory bodies as required. They represent the hospital’s Risk Management Department on select committees. Required Qualifications of Position: Education: Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Degree Preferred Field of study: Nursing: Experience: Minimum 10 Years of experience in healthcare risk management required, with prior work experience as a Registered Nurse Licenses: n/a: Certifications: Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred. Duties and Responsibilities: Champions and supports Risk Management, Quality Management, Performance Improvement, and Patient & Family Experience with other staff and through engagement on various committees.
