Engineering IV Technician

Job description

We are looking for an Engineering Technician to test copper products with established work instructions to evaluate product performance and collect data that provides evidence of conformance to product requirements. How You'll Help Us Connect the World: Project - Conduct electrical transmission, mechanical, and environmental tests of copper cabling and/or copper connectivity to assess compliance with product requirements. - Collect, record, analyze and report test data. - Follow the testing schedule and provide status in the lab request system. - Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to analyze and report data. - Assist in performing failure analysis. - Utilize custom computer software used with test equipment to acquire data. - Review and approval of test plans and reports if required. - Utilize the test request system to update the test status. - Communicate issues to the test engineer in a timely manner.
