Your Opportunity as a Health Safety & Environmental Manager The Health Safety & Environmental Manager is responsible for oversight and management of all safety and environmental affairs for the facility as well as safety compliance. Location: 1525 Industrial Rd, Emporia, KS 66801 (Hostess Manufacturing Facility) Work Arrangements: 100% on-site. Day Shift: Mon-Fri approximately 8am-5pm. Flexibility required. Willingness to work off shift (including nights, weekends, and/or holidays) and flow to the work as needed In this Role You Will: Ensure that all required environmental reports are submitted to the appropriate regulatory agency in a timely and accurate manner and that environmental permits are kept current Provide guidance in developing, implementing and documenting required HS&E training for site personnel Work with safety professionals and others at this location, and utilize Corporate and outside resources, to develop, implement and manage programs that will improve the safety of all employees and help ensure regulatory compliance Act as a liaison with Local, State, and Federal Regulatory Agencies on matters relating to Safety and Environmental regulatory compliance and is a...
