Reports To: Director of Operations Location: Multiple Store Locations / Field-Based Status: Full-Time: Position Summary: The Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for conducting detailed product quantity and inventory audits across all convenience store locations. This role ensures accurate stock levels, identifies shrink and discrepancies, and supports stores in maintaining reliable inventory practices. The auditor plays a critical role in protecting company assets, improving operational efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Perform scheduled inventory audits at assigned stores, physically counting product quantities across all categories, including packaged goods, tobacco, alcohol, foodservice items, etc. - Investigate root causes of inventory variances and communicate findings to store managers and district leadership. - Audit high-risk categories more frequently (e.g., cigarettes, OTP, lottery, alcohol) to monitor potential loss or mismanagement. - Review receiving practices to ensure vendor deliveries are accurately checked in, invoiced, and stocked according to company SOPs. - Verify that inventory adjustments, write-offs, returns...
