Job description

Camp Leaders support the planning and implementation of the Catalyst Camp’s program for school age children ranging in grades from TK-8 grade, depending on the site. Catalyst Camp Leaders must be able to facilitate a variety of age-appropriate activities, support children’s’ social emotional development, and ensure all children are supervised at all times in a healthy and safe environment. The Camp Leader II is accountable for supporting the Camp Supervisor as a secondary manager of staff and overseeing daily operations in the absence of the Camp Supervisor. Essential Job Functions: - In absence of Camp Supervisor, acts as first point of contact for day to day communication with families and location lease representatives. - Collaborates with the Camp Supervisor to coach, support and provides feedback to staff in both one-on-one as well as in team meetings so that they can deliver their best. - Implement and maintain intentional, enriched, and supportive camp environments connected to curriculum and quality experiences that are appropriate for all children. - Provide for a progression of activities within the framework of individual and group interests and abilities. - Uses stories...
