Title: Logistics Coordinator Salary Range: $21.00-$23.00/Hour: Responsibilities: The Logistics Coordinator coordinates outbound and inbound shipments ranging from local deliveries to international shipments and everything in-between. Requirements: - Schedules drivers to perform local deliveries. - Coordinates subrental pickup and returns. - Hotshots (airfreight). - Performs administrative tasks to support Operations Department including updated dispatch and inbound schedules, record keeping, and accounting. - Works with Sales staff in order to plan for pick-up and delivery times. - Provides freight cost quotations to sales staff. - Updates freight cost database with current costs. - Determines space requirements of shipments in trucks and shipping containers. - Negotiates rates with 3rd party carriers (including comparative rates), freight forwarders, and couriers. - Ensures costs are kept to a minimum without sacrificing service quality or accuracy. - Performs local deliveries as needed. - Other duties as assigned. - Highly Organized , hands-on approach - Completion of advanced freight training courses. - Proficient in MS Office Software (Outlook/Word/Excel). - Upbeat team player...
