No prior experience with equine assisted therapy is necessary, but the ideal candidate is someone dedicated to horsemanship, living a sober lifestyle, and promoting positive mental health and well-being. The person hired for this position must obtain Equine Assisted Wellness (EAW) certification. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Caring for Comanche Nation-owned horses, including feeding and watering, assisting with veterinary care, grooming horses, and performing routine maintenance of horse stables, tack, and other equipment Serve as facilitator for equine therapy sessions and instruct clients on horsemanship skills Maintain confidentiality of client therapy sessions REPORTS TO: Will report to the Lead Facilitator PHYSICAL DEMAN...
