We currently have an opportunity for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to join our Government & Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in strengthening a proactive, people‑centred safety culture across our portfolio. Reporting to the Contract Director / Head of Zero Harm Operations, you’ll shape safety leadership, uplift capability, and help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support essential public services. What You’ll Do: This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: - Champion a proactive Zero Harm leadership culture, partnering closely with operational leaders to influence safe, sustainable behaviours across diverse environments. - Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Downer Zero Harm Strategy, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and contract requirements. - Provide trusted health, safety and wellbeing expertise, offering practical, timely advice and support to leaders, teams, and service delivery partners. - Oversee incident investigations, audits, and risk assessments, using evidence‑based insights to drive learning and meaningful improvement. - Coach, mentor, and develop Zero Harm team members, fo...
