Status Full-Time Standard Hours per Week: 36 Job Posting Category: Advanced Practice Provider: Job Posting Description: Position Summary: We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Acute Cardiac Care Unit (ACCU) to join the Cardiac Medical and Surgical Advanced Practice Clinician Teams. Key Responsibilities: Minimal Qualifications - Care for inpatient pediatric and adult patients with cardiac medical issues including congenital heart disease, arrhythmia, heart failure, and pre and post heart transplant management - Care for cardiology patients admitted to the Cardiology service for management of non-cardiac medical issues - Care for patients following cardiac surgery including, chest tube and temporary pacing wires removal, wound care, arrythmia and heart failure management - Coordinate care for management of acute and chronic medical issues - Collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary team and consulting services to provide comprehensive care for optimal patient outcomes - Coordinate complex discharge planning needs - Work collaboratively in a family-centered environment - 36 or 40 hours, either permanent nights or rotating day/night with up to 50%-ni...
