Job description

A Holmes Lumber (a division of Carter Lumber) Garage Door Installer will assist in installing new overhead doors & operators, removing overhead doors & operators for replacement, and assist in installing rolling doors and dock equipment. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position. Requirements: Responsibilities: - Construction experience is a plus, but not required - Willingness to learn - Ability to work effectively under time constraints. - Ability to follow directions both written and verbal - Ability to problem solve - Installation - Replaces or installs garage doors using the appropriate tools. Analyzes jobsite, assists in running wires, assembling openers, cutting angles, and installing seals. Supports a safe work environment. - Customer Service - Ensures that customers are treated with the utmost respect and given the highest quality of workmanship. - Knowledge & Training - Responsible for acquiring the training needed to install garage doors safely and efficiently. - Responsible for becoming certified in the product/area that is being installed to ensure that we are providing the best service to our customers.
