Job Description Coordinates clinical pharmacy services to ensure pharmacy team provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. Facilitates development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through use of safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies. Job Responsibility: - Promotes Specialty Pharmacy department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members. - Leads the activities of assigned Specialty Pharmacy team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives. - Oversees development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical pharmacy services according to established policies, procedures, and protocols, consistent with government and agency regulations, and in collaboration with organizational goals and objectives. - Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; collaborates with management team members in selection, development, management and evaluation of indirect reports including pharmacy residents and students, where applicable. - Participates in quality improvement activities of department; collects and analyzes data; maintains documentation o...
