AJT Engineering is accepting applications for our Site Services Division for the position of Welder. Job Purpose: The main purpose of this position is to undertake welding activities as per company procedures in a safe and responsible manner at all times Main Responsibilities: - Carry out welding activities in the workshops and on customers sites - Carry out welding processes to GTAW, SMAW, GMAW and FCAW in various positions - Carry out welding to ISO, ASME and AWS standards - Welding of structure fabrications (Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium) - Welding of pipework fabrications (Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Cunifer and Aluminium) - Work to the requirements of CDM regulations 2015 - Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and make appropriate use of PPE at all times - Work to HSE ACOPs, customer rules & specifications, company work instructions and route cards at all times - Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, whether on customer sites or at college - Carry out any other reasonable task / activities as requested by Manager or delegate Skills and Abilities: - Ability to learn and adapt to the requirements of the role - Ability to re...
