Director of Networking Hardware Sourcing

Job description

We are seeking a Director of Networking Hardware Sourcing to lead strategy and execution for critical infrastructure components supporting Oracle Cloud (OCI) and on-premises platforms. This leader will own end-to-end sourcing strategy across key networking hardware categories and manage a team responsible for supplier relationships, cost optimization, and supply continuity at global scale. This role partners closely with Engineering, Product, and Finance to ensure scalable, cost-effective, and resilient supply chain solutions that support rapid cloud growth and new product introduction. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and develop a team of sourcing professionals responsible for networking hardware categories (e.g., switches, optics, and related components). - Define and execute global commodity strategies to optimize cost, performance, and supply continuity across the product lifecycle—from new product introduction (NPI) through end-of-life. - Serve as the primary executive interface for key suppliers, driving strategic partnerships, performance management, and long-term capacity planning. - Partner with Engineering to support product development, including supplier selection, RFx pro...
