JOB Title: Logistics Business Development Representative - Asset Division Position Purpose: The Logistics Business Development rep is responsible for soliciting freight orders from a designated and assigned base of Pratt Logistics ‘customers by fax, phone, e-mail, web-based platforms, and electronic data interchange. Job Functions: - Meets with key clients assisting with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. - Develops and maintains relationships with customers, prospective customers based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, purchasing contacts or other sources. - Travel regularly nationally to call upon regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talk with customers by phone. - Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with management. - Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares contracts for orders obtained. - Consistently and continually solicit committed and non-committed freight orders from a designated and assigned customer base via a multitude of communication exchanges daily, commensurate with company and business level needs. - Develop and maintain strong customer relationshi...
