Job Description Dutton + Associates, a Timmons Group company (D+A) , is seeking a full-time, entry-level Architectural History Technician for our Cultural Resources Group based in our Richmond, VA office location. The Architectural History Technician position is responsible for assisting the architectural history team with investigations involving historic buildings, structures, landscapes, and a wide variety of related property types. They will work collaboratively with other members of the architectural history team and the overall cultural resources group to ensure that project goals are met. Some regional overnight travel is expected. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: - Conducting historical surveys, and preparing detailed architectural and historical reports and conducting archival research as necessary - Assembling historic resource site file forms, site maps, and photographs - Evaluating the significance of historic resources according to established criteria, such as the National Register of Historic Places - Performing other duties as required.
