Job Description Position Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician (MD) to join our Dumfries Ambulatory Care Center. The physician will provide comprehensive internal medicine services within an open access/medical home care model, collaborating with a multidisciplinary patient care team to ensure high-quality care. Essential Functions: Deliver preventative, acute, and chronic care for patients assigned to your panel, and support other providers’ patients during high-volume periods or absences. Conduct general medical examinations for routine, acute, and chronic conditions across all organ systems. Promote preventive health and maintenance care, including physicals, immunizations, and patient education on positive health behaviors. Document all outpatient and inpatient encounters accurately in the EMR system in accordance with Army regulations and FHC policies. Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with complex conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, arthritis, and cancer.
