Introduction to the job: In our high-tech small production runs, single part and prototype production, you will support us in the high-precision manufacture of optical components, assemblies and systems made of glass, glass ceramics and ceramics. Role and responsibilities: As a Process Engineer for cleaning technology , you play a key role in ensuring stable, efficient, and future ‑ ready manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities include: Process ownership: Independently manage assigned cleaning processes ( e.g. wet or blasting cleaning); take over additional processes with support from senior engineers or line management. Monitoring & optimization: Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods ( e.g. SPC) to drive continuous improvement in yield, cost, and cycle time. Implement improvements: Execute simple optimizations independently and support more complex process changes in line with TGP. Availability & maintenance: Ensure process availability and define maintenance plans for cleaning processes (excluding operational maintenance activities).
