Description The Program in Neuroscience at The College of Wooster invites applications for an 18-month Visiting Assistant Professor of Neuroscience to begin in January 2026. We are looking for a candidate trained in neuroscience or neuroscience-related fields, with the ability to teach introductory and upper-level neuroscience courses for neuroscience majors. We are looking for a candidate who can advise students in mentored undergraduate research. The Program in Neuroscience has 2 full-time faculty members and 3 affiliated faculty members. We graduate approximately 25 majors annually. Many students from our program pursue graduate or professional studies and/or careers in neuroscience and psychology. The integrated life science facilities house modern teaching and research spaces, including advanced instrumentation (see Lab Facilities on the Neuroscience site), classrooms that promote active teaching and learning, and community spaces for faculty, staff, and students to meet.
