Symetra’s Individual Life Division is seeking a collaborative and results‑driven Manager, Life Underwriting to lead a team supporting our National Marketing Organization (NMO) partners. This role is ideal for an experienced underwriting leader who is passionate about people development, customer experience, and business growth—especially within digital and modern underwriting environments. About the role: As Manager of Life Underwriting, you will lead and develop a team of underwriters supporting core life insurance products, including Symetra’s award‑winning Swift Digital application process. You’ll balance technical expertise with people leadership, ensuring profitable growth, strong partner relationships, and a high‑quality customer experience.
