Description Information & Responsibilities: The Public Relations Manager is responsible for enhancing the Institute's reputation and regional and national visibility through authentic, exciting, and timely sharing of the many CalArts stories. This includes developing relationships with local, regional, and national news media and working to secure media placements. The Public relations Manager also works closely with colleagues in Content, Creative, Enrollment Management, and Advancement communications to support content marketing efforts, create a strategic editorial calendar and to ensure consistent messages to internal and external audiences. The Public Relations Manager is responsible for creating and executing public relations plans for both internal and external audiences. They will collaborate on editorial content in print, digital, and social media formats and will work proactively to improve communications externally/internally for all Institute stakeholders. The PR Manager also provides media relations counsel, training and interview support to the president, senior staff, deans, faculty and key staff.
