Description This is a remote/virtual position. Candidate can be based anywhere within Canada. This position in Sargent & Lundy’s Consulting group will require you to focus on our utility planning and advisory projects, such as the following: - Transmission system planning and analysis, including studies in load flow, stability, short circuit, and electromagnetic transients (EMT), to support a variety of clients such as ISO/RTO and electric utilities. - Preparing new generator interconnection applications, including development of conceptual single line diagram, verification of compliance with reactive power requirements, and development of steady-state, dynamic, and short circuit models to support the applications. - Reviewing ISO feasibility and system impact studies to provide guidance to our clients, who are ISO Interconnection Customers. Qualifications: We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in Canada for this position. This position may require access to U.S. export-controlled information.
