Overview The Chief of Staff & Project Manager (CoS/PM) serves as a force multiplier to the Chief Operating Officer of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc., translating enterprise vision into structured execution across the organization. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a director-level operator who thrives in ambiguity, leads cross-functionally without formal authority, and brings rigor, pace, and clarity to a fast-moving operating environment. Reporting directly to the COO, the CoS/PM owns the COO's time-and-action calendar, drives the operating cadence of the COO's organization, and ensures the right people, decisions, and deliverables are aligned to the company's most critical priorities. The role is part program manager, part strategic partner, and part air-traffic controller — the connective tissue between vision and execution. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.
