Memorial Community Hospital and Health System, located in Blair, NE, is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support safe, high-quality patient care through the proper cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of medical instrumentation. This role is essential to ensuring all clinical areas have properly processed instruments. The Sterile Processing Technician contributes to departmental and organizational goals by providing timely, accurate, and high-quality sterile processing services while supporting patient safety and satisfaction. What You’ll Do: ◦ Case cart assembly ◦ OR room turnover (as applicable) ◦ High-level disinfection (HLD) and cleaning of GI scopes and TEE probes (where applicable) - Schedule: Day hours, 32-40 hours per week. - Clean, inspect, assemble, process, and sterilize all surgical instruments and equipment according to hospital policy, industry standards, and manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFU). - Follow universal precautions and comply with all OSHA safety requirements. - Perform daily and weekly testing and documentation for mechanical equipment, including washers, u...
