We are seeking a Senior Primary Engineer to join our growing Power Systems Design (PSD Energy) team in Adelaide. PSD Energy is a specialised engineering function focused on the design and delivery of high-voltage power systems that underpin Australia’s evolving energy landscape. Our team plays a critical role in enabling grid reliability, network upgrades, and renewable energy integration, working across complex transmission and substation projects. This is an opportunity to contribute to technically challenging and meaningful work, while providing technical leadership and design expertise within a collaborative and high-performing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design of HV primary systems (AIS/GIS substations, transmission infrastructure) Prepare and review engineering deliverables including: - Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) - General Arrangements (GAs) - Equipment layouts and specifications - Deliver projects across concept, FEED, and detailed design phases - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (secondary, civil, protection, commissioning) - Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with Australian standards and utility requirements - Provid...
