Job Summary: The Providence Center Community Clinical Therapist or RN Providence Police Per Diem will support and maintain a relationship with Providence fire and police Chiefs by performing a range of clinical and administrative functions under the direction of the Supervisor. Provide triage and assessment services for individuals in the community experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Work closely with and provide education and training (individual and/or group) to pre-trial services, community agencies, the police department, the fire department and other first responders. Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide and coordinate with fire, police and first responders for the provision of triage and assessment services for individuals in the community experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Identify and develop diversion opportunities and/or hospitalization for identified persons. Work closely with TPC Acute Care Programs – Emergency Services, Engagement and Diversion, Crisis Stabilization Unit and other teams as appropriate to coordinate care and services.
