Shop Laborer

Job description

Shop Laborer is responsible for shipping and receiving outgoing and incoming products related to customer orders and internal requests for parts and equipment. They are responsible for accurately receiving and picking orders, labelling, invoicing, inventory control, and shrink-wrapping skids, and all other general duties. While this position includes core shipping and receiving responsibilities, it also offers the opportunity to be involved in a broader range of hands-on operational activities within our facility. Essential Job Responsibilities: - Arrange for trucking or shipping/receiving services; - Prepare records of goods shipped and received; - Use ORACLE and NEXUS to record parts shipped and received and look up purchase orders and part locations; - Exercise a sense of time, organization and urgency; - Ensure orders are correct and ready to be packed/shipped; - Work with others to ensure products are received and shipped in a timely and efficient manner; - Inspect and verify outgoing and incoming goods against invoices or other documents; - Operate forklift and/or loader to load, unload, transport and store goods; - Conduct daily forklift/loader walk around fill-in checklist;...
