Description The School of Applied Sciences and Arts in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts on the Downtown Phoenix Campus of Arizona State University is inviting applications for the position of Instructor on the vibrant downtown Phoenix campus. The anticipated start date for this role is August 16, 2026. The selected candidate will play a key role in teaching undergraduate courses in mathematics and may include college algebra, college mathematics, pre-calculus, and elements of statistics. Teaching first-year mathematics courses will involve instruction in a redesigned, student-centered format with few or no lectures. This position will also develop course syllabi according to university and discipline standards, assign and grade assignments and maintains student records as well as reviewing and evaluating effectiveness of teaching methods and work activities. Course assignments will primarily focus on the undergraduate level and may be delivered in various formats, including online, on-ground, or hybrid on the Downtown Phoenix campus.
