Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center, Waukesha , is a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital. WVRC offers a warm, friendly atmosphere where our main goal is to provide compassionate care to our patients and clients as well as offering outstanding customer service. The Veterinary Technician Assistant provides key support to the technician and veterinarian staff. Must be friendly, professional and courteous, and capable of handling several tasks at once with frequent interruptions. Must be able to take direction from multiple staff members while adhering to training standards. This Veterinary Technician Assistant opening is in our growing Internal Medicine department! Schedule and Compensation: - Full time, 4 ten hour shifts per week - 4 holidays per year will be required - NO weekends - Hourly pay starts at $16 and may be higher depending on experience Essential Functions: Multi-tasking and attention to detail skills are required. Must have the ability to stand for much of the work period and enough stamina to work past the regularly scheduled shifts, if needed.
