Job Overview: Weatherford has a great opportunity for an experienced Materials Engineering Manager to join the team at the Spencer Road Facility in Houston, TX. The Materials Engineering Manager will lead the development, selection, testing, and performance evaluation of materials used in Weatherford’s oilfield equipment and technologies. This role is critical in ensuring material integrity, reliability, and compliance with industry standards in challenging environments, including high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT), corrosive, and subsea conditions. The successful candidate will manage a team of engineers and specialists while collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and field operations teams to drive innovation and operational excellence.
