Create your best future and join Westpac as a Head of Property Risk What’s the role?: As Head of Property Risk, you’ll lead a specialist team that’s genuinely different in the Australian banking landscape. This team sits in the first line and is embedded directly in deal teams, working alongside relationship managers and credit partners from the outset, not reviewing transactions after the fact. You’ll lead and develop a team of property and construction risk specialists supporting Westpac’s Business & Wealth Division, while remaining hands-on in complex transactions. You’ll be involved early in opportunities, attending customer meetings, visiting sites, reviewing valuations and shaping credit submissions with practical, real world property insight. Beyond day-to-day deal activity, you’ll partner with the National Head of Property Risk on strategic and Groupwide initiatives, contributing to governance, industry engagement and market thought leadership.
