The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Summer Day Camp Counselor to join our 2026 Summer team! The YMCA focuses on empowering people in all forms, by improving health and well-being and inspiring action in and across our neighborhoods. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As a Summer Day Camp Counselor, you will get to know a small group of campers and supervise them through a range of fun activities such as swimming, playing games, participating in sports, and learning arts and crafts all while keeping them engaged and safe. Qualifications: Wage: $17.13 to $17.16 per hour, depending on qualifications. - Plan, lead, and assist group activities, transitions, time fillers, and songs. - Complete group head counts. - Provide parent communication through parent communication cards. - Complete accident and incident reports when necessary. - Cleaning and sanitation protocols will be required of all staff. - Six months or more of related experience (preferred). - Positive attitude and previous experience with children and...
