Job description

Apply specialized knowledge of mechanical engineering to prepare plans and design methods to improve efficiency in production and work to improve mechanical equipment availability and capability by utilizing continuous improvement tools and working cross-functionally. Utilize Problem Solving and Improvement approaches, including understanding of tools/process type and selection, plus Corrective and Preventive Action processes in order to lead problem solving efforts that involve a variety of problem-solving tools including 7-step, FMEA and Kaizen. Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems, or processes to meet requirements and develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operations of product designs. Evaluate routine work activities in relation to product demand rate in order to recommend processes for efficient product delivery using line balancing analysis.
