Rhode Island Medical Imaging is offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus!* SUMMARY: The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to humans for diagnostic purposes. Under the direction of the Lead Technologist and/or Site Manager, the Radiographer/X-Ray Technologist performs radiographic procedures and related techniques producing images at the request of and for interpretation by licensed healthcare professionals. They interact effectively and professionally with patients, referring physicians/their staff, and fellow employees while maintaining the best possible patient flow and throughput at all times. They ensure appropriate quality control and perform related tasks such as assisting patients, maintaining and ordering appropriate levels of supplies, maintaining cleanliness of work areas, and performing routine clerical functions.
