Policy Specialist

Job description

The State Policy Specialist will own all programmatic operations in a portfolio of Aledade markets (5 markets/Specialist) including being responsible with a great degree of autonomy for the implementation and adoption of programmatic activities, sustaining practice interest in advocacy activities, and ultimately influencing legislative environments to be more conducive to primary care sustainability. This will be accomplished by managing market policy operations, sharing knowledge with member practices and Aledade teams, and engaging with external stakeholders across the spectrum of seniority and influence, including state and federal legislators and state associations. This role requires a deep situational awareness of the policy space as well as the ability to discern customer needs and collaborate across teams and audiences. It emphasizes a proactive approach to policy-related developments and solidification as the subject matter expert of policy in their assigned portfolio of states.
