Job description

We are hiring an Electrical Superintendent to join our team at Walker Engineering for our DFW division. An Electrical Superintendent is expected to plan, organize, direct and control large and/or complex project construction. Provide leadership and direction to all aspects of the workforce, including project-associated subcontractors. Ensure that all aspects of the project are coordinated and completed in a timely, efficient, safe, profitable manner with quality standards. Specific Responsibilities: Safety - Oversee the implementation of Walker’s safety program, adherence to OSHA rules and regulations, and compliance with site-specific safety requirements for all Walker-related personnel, including employees, subcontractors, and visitors. - Participate in safety/incident investigations and reviews. Ensure timely responses and document actions/corrections. - Complete and/or review all other safety-related documentation in a timely manner. - Coordinate and participate in all site-specific OSHA inspections, investigations, claims, as well as any other government inspection and licensing issues. - Ensure first aid kits are complete and its contents are current.
