The Impact You Will Make The Staff Accountant supports the accounting department and be responsible for ensuring accounting transactions are processed and posted accurately and timely in a variety of areas. It is essential that the candidate brings strong analytical and organizational skill to best support the accounting team. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial reporting and reconciliation: - Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations with supporting documentation - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statements - Assist with monthly and year-end financial close - Assist with year-end financial audit - Monitor policies and procedures for compliance and suggest modifications and improvements as applicable - Maintain effective internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and procedures - Ad hoc reporting and projects as required BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: California residents should review our Notice for California Employees and Applicants before applying.
