This role requires a high degree of independence and resourcefulness and will support the staff of the Center for Career Development. As the first point of contact with the Center for Graduate Career and Professional Development via its general inbox, the Graduate Assistant (GA) will respond to and field graduate student inquiries. The GA will assist all career advisors in career-related events by promoting Zoom-based and in-person career events and attending Zoom-based career events to support breakout rooms, attendance, and occasional recordings. RESPONSIBILITIES: General Support: Provide email support via the Center inbox fielding questions from students and alumni on topics including meeting with their advisor, using Handshake, upcoming events and other processes Educate, inform, and engage colleagues on the value of Center workshops having participated in sequence of Career Intensive Workshop series; able to explain both sequence and value to students.
