Overview Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team at one of our Maternal Fetal Medicine clinics in The Woodlands, TX. At Pediatrix, we are passionate about giving high-risk expectant mothers and their babies the care they deserve. The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer provides diagnostic ultrasound tests for patients in the Maternal Fetal Medicine setting. The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer works independently and with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to pregnant women. Sonographers work closely with perinatologists, providing preliminary reports and assisting with procedures. Responsibilities: - Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, including twins and triplets. Acquires anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data for interpretation by a physician. - Assists physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling. - Accurately documents exam findings, measurements, images, and procedural details in the ultrasound reporting and image archiving systems. - Records patient history, indications, and pertinent observations in accordance with department...
