R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited (Burnside) is seeking an Air Engineering Specialist to join our Air & Noise Group. This role can be based out of any of our Mississauga, Newmarket, or Pickering offices and reports to the Sr. Air & Noise Engineer. We welcome applications from professionals with interest in air quality consulting in Ontario and a background in engineering. Our Air & Noise Group includes chemical and mechanical engineers, environmental scientists, and technicians with backgrounds in chemistry, biology, and physics. The team supports a wide range of projects for municipal, private sector, and Indigenous clients across land development, industrial, and transportation sectors. What You’ll Be Doing: In this role, you will apply your engineering knowledge to support and lead air quality assessments, contributing to projects from initial analysis through to regulatory submission and client delivery. With a degree-level foundation, you’ll take on increasing technical ownership, applying sound engineering judgment and problem-solving skills.
