Job description

Subsidiary New Millennium Overview: Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as furnace, cranes, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment. Responsibilities: - Direct maintenance employees on day-to-day operations, including work schedule - Work with production in the event of unscheduled down time - Assists supervisor with monitoring employee training for accuracy - Inspects mechanical devices in operation and trouble shoots issues as needed - Welding using oxyacetylene torch, arch welder, and mig welder - Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, and re-assembles when complete - Examines forms and texture of parts to detect imperfections - Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements - Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments - Repairs or replaces defective parts - Installs special functional and structural parts in devices - Responsible that all emission control systems are working properly, and that all federal, state, and local documentation are being followed - Lubricates and cleans parts - Starts devices to test their performance - Works aloft ut...
